How lifestyle impacts your health and body

There is an old saying

"Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy wealthy and wise!"

We learn this when we are in pre-school. We teach this to our children, but seldom do we apply this statement in our lives.

Most of us are aware of what is good and what is bad. But we try to cheat ourselves by breaking the laws of nature. As a result we sooner or later get punished by getting diseases and ailments.

It is difficult to follow the basic principles for good health is because of people around us!

Human being are social animals…
we are tend to follow what is happening around us.

We find it difficult to eat an apple when everyone else in the office is having a pizza. BUT …….. it is at your will to follow others, or REALITY.

After all it is your health which is at stake…

If you are like most of the people who have forgotten the basic principles of good health. Perhaps, here is a quick reference to remind you of what is good and bad….

Mistakes one should avoid for better health:

There are many ways you can reduce stress you can also treat depression without taking any medicines.

Stress and depression are very closely related and both are underlying reasons on why we get ill.

Anyone who is happy, eats well and stay physically active is less prone to any ailment and lives longer.

Sleeping late

After 10 o clock our body produces more acids in the stomach.

Over eating leads to indigestion and constipation. Drink lots of water to cure constipation. Chew 30 times before gulping the food.

Falling in the trap of advertising and not reality

Don't believe in whatever is shown on TV.

Many beauty products and health supplements are nothing but packed and branded version of staple foods available abundant in nature and grocery stores.

What's more these packaged foods include processing chemicals and usually do not have that rigor as compared to fresh version that you can find at the vegetable market.

Try to eat fresh rather than packed. This includes dairy products like milk, curd and any other eatables.

Staying away from nature

People living in villages are less prone to diseases and ill health. This is for a simple reason that villages have less pollution. More trees fresh water and air.

If possible travel to countryside over the weekends. Nothing best than settling down if you can commute to work.

Lack of physical activity

In the modern world everything is mechanized and automated, we are surrounded by machine.

We don't have to do much physical activity. Lack of physical activity slows down our metabolism, once our metabolism is slow the cells in our body recover slowly from any damages.
